The Chairman and the Board of Trustees of the Gandhi Memorial Trust in collaboration with High Commission of India, Kuala Lumpur did the official launch of the 2023 United Nations International Day of Non-Violence and commemoration of the 154th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
The event’s launching was done by chief guests His Excellency Mr. B.N. Reddy, High Commissioner of India to Malaysia. Followed speech by His Excellency Mr. Niloy Banerjee Resident Representative, UNDP Malaysia, Singapore & Brunei Darussalam. Next the Tenth Gandhi Memorial Lecture – Gandhi For The Young Millennials Speaker : Professor Jagmohan Singh Rajput. The GMT Public Service Award to be presented to Dato’ Ambiga Sreenevasan.
Representative from United Malaysian Hindu Voice, United Malaysian Hindu Youth Fellowship, United Malaysian Hindu Students League has attended the event.
